Deck the Halls - Supply Drive 12/8 - 12/17
We’re almost halfway through the school year, and supplies are running low. Let’s support our teachers by restocking essential school supplies! You can drop off supplies at the front office or send them in with your student. Collection boxes will be available inside the school.
Suggested supplies – pencils, colored pencils, glue, white and colored copy paper, markers,  tape, tissues, sticky notes, pens, dry erase markers in various colors, hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes.

Items to brighten the teachers’ and students’ day – coffee kcups, creamer, tea, and student motivational items (candy, stickers, fun pencils, etc).
Adopt -A-Teacher - We are looking for sponsors for each teacher and staff member this holiday season. We have a list of their favorite things and some of their Amazon Wishlists.

Staff Holiday Potluck 12/18 - Let's show our love and appreciation for the wonderful people that make a difference in our children's lives every day. We're throwing a potluck lunch for all staff to show how much we care. Volunteers will be available at drop off to accept dishes - please label your dish as to who it's from and what it is.
(or tape a note to it and we'll handle it.)
Volunteers Needed - Lunch duty assistance. Lunch time can be loud and overwhelming. Having extra adults present can take off some of the stress for teachers. Must have Level 2 volunteer clearance.

The Vision of Our PTA & Why We Fundraise

As a newly established Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), we're excited to build a vibrant and supportive community for our students, teachers, and families. Currently, we're seeking to raise the necessary funds to bring our ambitious goals to life.

Empowering Our Dedicated Teachers

Our teachers are the heart of our school, consistently going above and beyond for our children. Many generously use their own funds to provide essential resources and enrich the learning environment. We believe they deserve our full support. With your help, we aim to:

  • Provide teacher appreciation meals during demanding periods like testing weeks.

  • Fund "outside-the-box" learning experiences that are hands-on and engaging, moving beyond traditional textbooks.

  • Supply essential resources for various departments, including:

    • Science: Supporting labs, robotics, and other STEM initiatives.

    • Arts: Supplying microphones for theater and chorus, instrument supplies and sheet music for band, and general art class materials.

  • Offer "mini-grants" to five deserving teachers annually, allowing them to fulfill a classroom "bucket list" item as a reward for their hard work.

Enriching the Student Experience

Our students are at the core of everything we do. We're committed to creating an inclusive and exciting learning environment where all students can thrive. Our initiatives include:

  • Financial assistance for families in need: Providing funds for field trips and school uniforms through a dedicated donation based uniform closet and a eventually a food pantry.

  • Creating engaging activities: Funding projects like a school beautification and an environmental club to put science and sustainability into action.

  • Regular student recognition: Celebrating the hard work and achievements of all our students.

  • By the 2026-2027 school year, we aspire to have the resources to fully implement these vital programs.

Fostering a Stronger "GREEN" Family Community

We believe that a strong school community is built on connection and collaboration. We plan to host regular events that bring families together, such as:

  • Social gatherings: Potluck nights, game nights, trivia nights, dances, and festivals.

  • Accessible PTA meetings: Coordinating meetings with student pick-up times or offering evening meetings with provided dinner (like pizza) to ensure parents don't have to choose between family dinner and PTA involvement. Our meetings are also available virtually.

With your sponsorship and support, we can transform these aspirations into reality, making a tangible difference in the lives of our students and teachers. We invite you to join us in building a vibrant and thriving school community.

As a PTA member, there are no obligations to volunteer. Get involved as much or as little as you like. We'll share our upcoming activities and needs, but it's just for info—never pressure! Your support, big or small, makes a difference.

Your PTA membership helps shape important decisions, power school activities, and fund key improvements.
